Minimal browser storage, no advertising trackers.
Roxie keeps this website deliberately light: no analytics cookies, no ad pixels, and no cross-site tracking. The site does use a cookieless page-view counter that measures traffic in aggregate and does not identify you individually. The only browser-side memory in use is functional storage related to the age gate experience.
1. Current status
Roxie does not place cookies on your device for analytics, behavioral advertising, retargeting or profiling. We do measure how many people visit the site using Cloudflare Web Analytics: a cookieless tool that saves nothing in your browser and does not build a profile of you.
2. Functional browser storage
Roxie uses limited browser-side storage for strictly functional purposes only. In practice, this includes remembering that you already passed the adults-only age gate so that the site does not ask you on every visit from the same browser.
This browser-side storage is not used to track you across other websites and is not used for advertising.
3. Technical requests to third parties
Even when no cookies are set by us, some technical requests may still be made to third-party services involved in delivering the website or service. Those providers may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information, or request metadata as part of normal internet communications.
This is different from saying that Roxie uses marketing or analytics cookies. It simply reflects how websites and infrastructure normally work on the internet.
4. Clearing storage and future updates
You can clear local browser storage through your browser settings. Doing so may cause the age gate to appear again on your next visit.
If Roxie ever starts using analytics cookies, embedded third-party tools, marketing pixels, or any other non-essential cookies, you will find them described on this page, and you will be asked for your consent wherever the law requires it.
